Linda Bannon and her son Timmy suffer from Holt Oram - a rare genetic condition due to which they were born without arms. Despite their condition they live a happy life in a non-modified home. Amazingly, they do everything with their feet and Timmy is a young sports star excelling in swimming and taekwondo. Linda is also studying to become a motivational speaker despite working through the day as a kindergarten teacher. We have been invited to spend two days with them as they go about their hectic lives.

Think Twice Act Wise
Don’t reply when you are sad.
Don’t take decision when you are angry.
Think twice., Act wise.
24 Things To Always Remember
Your presence is a present to the world.
You are unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be what you want it to be.
Take the days just one at a time.
Count your blessings, not your troubles.
You will make it through whatever comes along.
Within you are so many answers.
Understand, have courage, be strong.
You are unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be what you want it to be.
Take the days just one at a time.
Count your blessings, not your troubles.
You will make it through whatever comes along.

God Answers
The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming.
Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions. But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky.
The worst had happened ~everything was lost. He was stunned with grief and anger. God, how could you do this to me he cried. Early the next day, however, he was wakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the
island.

View From The Window

View From The Window
Life is like a view from the window.
You can’t change the window even if you don’t like it, but you can change the way you look at it.
Then you will see how beautiful life is.

Isn’t It Strange
Isn’t It Strange
* Isn’t it strange how a $100 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you donate it to the temple, but such a small amount when you go shopping?
* Isn’t it strange how endless an hour seems when we are serving God, but how short it is when we watch a Football game or Cricket for 60 minutes?
* Isn’t it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you’re at the temple and how short they seem when you’re watching a good movie?
* Isn’t it strange that you can’t find things to say when you’re praying, but you have no trouble in thinking what to talk about with a friend?
* Isn’t it strange how difficult and boring it is to read one chapter of Bhagwad Gita, but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel?
* Isn’t it strange how everyone wants front-row-tickets to concerts or games, but they do whatever is possible to sit in the last row in the temple?
* Isn’t it strange how we need to know about an event for the temple 2-3 weeks before the day so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust it for other events at the last minute?
* Isn’t it strange how difficult it is to learn a fact about God to share it with others, but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip?
* Isn’t it strange how we believe everything that Magazines and Newspapers say but we question the words in the holy books like Ramayan?
* Isn’t it strange how everyone wants a place in heaven, but they don’t want to believe, do, or say anything to get there?
* Isn’t it strange how we send jokes in e-mails and they are Fowarded right away, but when we are going to send messages about God, we think about twice before we share them with others?

Show Light

Show Light
God created you and I to produce light in a dark world.
No matter how small we are or what color we might be,
Like a little candle, we all can produce the same amount of light.
It is always up to us, either to get lost in darkness...
or sparkle and show light to others.

Conquer Your Weakness
This is a story of one 10-year-old boy who decided to study judo despite the fact that he had lost his left arm in a devastating car accident.
The boy began lessons with an old Japanese judo master. The boy was doing well, so he couldn’t understand why, after three months of training, the master had taught him only one move. “Sensei,” the boy finally said, “Shouldn’t I be learning more moves?”
“This is the only move you know, but this is the only move you’ll ever need to know,” the Sensei replied. Not quite understanding, but believing in his teacher, the boy kept training.
Several months later, the Sensei took the boy to his first tournament. Surprising himself, the boy easily won his first two matches. The third match proved to be more difficult, but after some time, his opponent became impatient and charged; the boy deftly used his one move to win the match. Still amazed by his success, the boy was now in the finals.

Stand By My Belief
Stand By My Belief
I am not bound to win; but I am bound to be true.
I am not bound to succeed; but I am bound to live by the light that I have.
I must stand with anybody who stands right;
Stand with him while he is right; Part with him when he goes wrong.
I will stand by my belief. Always.
